The Gendarmes seem to be an Olympic buzz killer. I imagine tourists resistance, black market codes, Leo sympathizers, embassy intervention, procured Olympic credentials, bartenders who have wrangled high level passes, maybe media credentials. Maybe your favorite calligrapher can create a card showing you are the sports correspondent from the Highland Park Gazette. Or possibly you hold a fundraiser for the Gendarme Benevolent society and become a deputy or honorary Gendarme. A last minute tourist union could be formed, or best yet you could be one of the official Olympic chefs which would allow access. This Olympic maze is making the Olympics even more fun to follow through your adventures!
