I was telling my French hair stylist about your adventures (he’s from Paris). He too considered going to LCB back in the day but changed his mind because it’s a like “military boot camp”. By the sounds of it, he’s not far off. I’m rooting for the cute enlistee from Texas 😘
Keep up the great work Chef Amy!! So incredibly proud of you! It sounds both physically and mentally exhausting! Hope you are getting enough rest! Do you get to eat any of the food you prepare?
Fascinating that they have different kitchens and not enough supplies. I was envisioning a Chopped kitchen with everything you could possibly need at your disposal. There is definitely some interesting psychology going on there. There's this really cool, portable, pop-up stool made by a company called Kick-Ass...how awesome if you brought that with you in your mesh bag and just pulled it out in the locker room or set it up outside while waiting for the kitchen to open?!
One more question for you: what happens to the food you prepare? Do you eat it together in class? Can you take it home for leftovers? (I’m thinking if the quiche here, not the headless chicken…)
Sounds like things are getting easier or you are adjusting. Let's make homemade pasta when you get home....that dish looks yummy. Again...we all miss you but what an adventure. Glad Les got out of here...weather was terrible last week. Hope this week is great. Love u

Yummy foods this week! Who cleans the dishes and wipes down the stove??
